topInter
topinter is the basic module for the implementation of market-research
surveys basing on CAPI and CATI. It contains capable features which allow a
direct interview of test persons on the display, using multimedia
components such as text, graphics, videos and sound.

topInter provides a close interaction with topConfig as regards
the generation of computer-controlled questionaires, so that a
screen supported interview basing on the study can be realized.

The screen pages of topInter are generated automatically, uniform
and appealing, so that complicated positioning and editing processes
are not necessary any more. By an integrated structure,topInter supports
all kinds of questions generated fromtopConfig and provides
features like multi-mentioning or scale questions for computer-aided interviews.

Administration tools within a questionnaire help to avoid any error during
the interview, which may occur in case of paper&pencil versions. By this,
filter branches may be automated depending on the answers, so that the
interviewer will be lead trough the system.

topField
During quantitative studies, topField allows a data exchange
between central processing unit and coding or CAPI/CATI-workstation,
respectively. The data exchange is possible via several media, such
as USB-stick or E-Mail.

topCode
The coding of questions left open within a study basing on CAPI or CATI takes
place with the help of topCode, using the answer codes
recorded bytopConfig. During few steps, the open questions
are coded via screen support and then provided for analysis.

topCode can be used both as atopStud integrated module and as a
single program.
